    A/V and Other Requirements for Keynote Speaking Engagements

    Lavalier microphone (no handheld mics and earhook microphones are last choice as she is deaf in one ear)

    Podiums are not preferred but workable if necessary

    Comfort monitor (if not doable, Nola’s Windows laptop must be available on stage and hooked up to an HDMI cable — and if you’re not using HDMI, we’ll probably have an issue)

    Clicker (to advance slides — if Nola’s laptop is being used, she will bring her own clicker)

    Sound capabilities to broadcast videos to the audience

    PowerPoint (not Google Slides, PDF, Prezi, or Keynote) and 16×9 slides, always

    One bottle / glass of water

The fee for a virtual presentation (keynote, panel discussion, interactive chat) is negotiable.

50% of payment is required to secure the date, with the final 50% payable on or before the date of the event.

Nola Simon’s fee for a keynote talk in the United States or Canada is negotiable but there will be a $2000 flat travel fee, payable upfront, which includes all air, ground travel, and incidental expenses. Hotel will be arranged and paid for by the client. The only exception is if your event are located within a 2 hour drive (one way) from Keswick, Ontario. Nola will drive to those events if no overnight stay is required.

International rates vary; please get in touch to discuss.
